I grew up in Colorado in a horse family where I started shoeing my own horses and occasionally a neighbor’s horse at the age of 12 and have been involved in the horse industry my whole life. During the 1980's and early 1990's I trained, showed and bred Paints and Quarter Horses professionally. During this time I competed in many different disciplines which developed my eye towards movement and balance.
I graduated from Lamar Community College (Colorado) Farrier Science in 1982.
Followed by two years of apprenticeship with Nationally recognized farriers. I am currently in my 21st year of horse shoeing.
I continue my education by attending clinics throughout each year to stay on the cutting edge of the industry.

- Please let me know if you have acquired a new horse or you no longer have a horse that I am expecting to service. I like to know what services I am to perform so I can block out enough of my schedule for you. I like to run an on-time service for all clients.
- Please keep me informed... Please relay anything that you or your Vet/trainer feels that I should know. Communication is an important component in keeping your horse sound and competitive.
- Please have your horses caught/ready for me to work. They should be reasonably clean and dry because wet and muddy hooves are difficult to hold. Please provide solid ground & power.

- After I perform my work, I prefer to schedule our next appointment. In doing so, your horse is kept on a schedule that benefits your horse's health and it allows me to group my appointments geographically to reduce travel time & expenses. If you would like to arrange an appointment at a later date, please allow a 1-week notice.
